@Kirsten: Hi Kirsten, thanks,...what i did at first was i googled 'digital lomo' (without the quote marks) to start researching how others were making out with this feel of imagery...one of the best sources I found was -

I really like how the technique was explained and the photoshop actions really do a nice job and leave plenty room to adjust images to your own taste...it's a lot of fun...
