Vintage 1923

This kind old man stopped me on the street in Montpellier. He said it was to ask directions so he could get home but it wasn't that. He just wanted someone to talk with. Told me he was born in 1923. Was retired now but he worked for the police. His wife had died recently. We talked for maybe ten, fifteen minutes. He had enough and went on his way.
