Yesterdays Image : Color at full size

Here's a full size slice of yesterdays image. Please excuse the soft focus on this image, I think you'd see slightly more grain if it was very sharp. I can't recall exactly but I think the focus point was off to the right near the light poles. I've been playing with the different focus choices on the body. That alone is a bucket full of learning curve. Plus I left it wide open at 2.8 and that's not it's strong point. I was using this very old 28mm lens this night to test it a bit because I read it was a very mediocre lens in terms of quality. I actually find it ok if it's stopped down a bit to around 5.6. It's fine for b&w work. You can see a hint of fine grain in the darker areas. I think I might save up for a Zeiss 28mm...I've read good things about that lens. It's manual focus but that's alright and I think it's an f2. I'm liking 28mm very much as I shoot more with this body.
