Books 'n' Travel

@john4jack: Hi Jack...me too...well, now I've got a camera with me most days but when I used to commute from Staten Island, New York into Manhattan each day by bus or ferry and then trains I'd always have a book with me. In later years I'd always have a sketchbook with me too. Man, I still don't have a cell phone but that may change soon. I'm gettin' a bit scared in my 20 year old car without a way to call for help just in case. Take care Jack.

@John Leech: thanks John...commuting is a great time to take photos and sometimes I'm confronted with this, easy, powerful...I'm sure she knew I was taking her photo but she just didn't mind...nice contrast to those who react with violence like I'm stealing their soul or something...but I do try to stay sensitive, alert and will back off if I sense the person not happy with me and my magic box that steals the essence of their being :-)
